Delivery

All orders must be paid in full prior to scheduling a delivery. To reschedule a delivery please call 301-735-2087, Monday through Saturday, within 72 hours prior to your scheduled date.


If you miss your delivery without notifying us we can no longer guarantee the availability of your merchandise. All confirmed delivery attempts not able to be made are subject to a re-delivery fee to be paid prior to rescheduling.


Inspect your new furniture right away - Please make sure that all the pieces on your invoice are received and are the correct items.  If you see any damages, Marlo will arrange immediately for a trained technician to come to your home to repair the furniture to your complete satisfaction. We have found that in home repair by skilled furniture technicians results in the highest level of customer satisfaction. If the furniture cannot be repaired properly, the technician will make that determination and report it to our customer service department.


Policies

48 hour return policy - if you choose to return your merchandise, you must contact us within 48 hours of receiving your merchandise. All returns are subject to a restocking and pick up fee up to 20% of the purchase price.


Special orders - Any merchandise purchased as a special order, if cancelled for any reason, will be assessed a restocking fee of 50% of the original purchase price.


Refunds - All payments made by cash or check are refunded by check, mailed to the customer from the corporate office (allow 12 banking days for your check to clear).
1. Bankcard payments are refunded to your bankcard account
2. Finance refunds are credited to your finance account.


If Marlo fails to provide you, the buyer, with an estimated delivery date or fails to deliver the ordered household goods within 2 weeks of the estimated delivery date, you may (1) cancel the contract and receive a full refund or credit equal to your deposit, (2) modify the contract by selecting other household goods or (3) schedule a new delivery date with Marlo, Marlo is not required to allow you to exercise these rights if Marlo cannot cancel the order with the manufacturer or supplier.


Checklist

To make your delivery go as smoothly as possible, we recommend the following:

  • • Have the set up area for new furniture clear of existing furniture
  • • All walls and walkways in the path of the delivery must be cleared. Remove pictures, mirrors, nails, plants, tables, etc.
  • • Consider how the piece will fit your home, measure the piece then measure your door openings. When going up and down stairs check the ceiling height and for any difficult turns. Remember to measure twice!!
  • • In the event of inclement weather, please have your driveway and sidewalks clear of ice and snow.
  • • Lay rugs, blankets or cardboard down to protect wood, tile floors or carpet.
  • • If you live in an apartment or condominium, remember to reserve the service elevator.
  • • Please examine your new furniture upon delivery.
  • • An adult over the age of 18 should be at home to receive your new furniture

Check Status

You should inspect your new furniture right away once it is in your home. You will be asked to sign a receipt confirming that you received your furniture in good condition.
